Michelle Andrie, Founder of Priya Yoga

Michelle AndrieMichelle Andrie is one of the premiere Yoga Therapists in the Dallas/FortWorth area.  She teaches nationally and internationally. Her method ofteaching called, “Priya Yoga” is one unique to her. It is designed to helpstudents find freedom through the ground, the breath and the extension.
Priya Yoga is all encompassing where students become aware of their emotional and psychological state by connecting to their physical limitations as well as their flexibility. It is Yoga in its purest form…the true connection of mind, body and spirit. 
  Michelle’s DVD, “Priya Partner Yoga” received rave reviews from “Yoga journal.” They said it's “an excellent introduction to investigating Yoga through relationship. This is a well-executed, 50 minute offering in which each partner plays an active role in nearly a dozen interesting asana-based exercises.” They go on to say, “Michelle is an excellent teacher with a solid understanding of adjustment and alignment, and her instructions are exact yet compassionate.”
  Michelle also co-wrote a workbook, Free Your Body, Yoga For Trauma, that helps people overcome trauma through the Priya Yoga practice.  In addition, Michelle has trained hundreds of yoga teachers through thePriya Yoga Teacher Training program. She has a 200 hour and a 500 hour level certification with the Yoga Alliance National Standards For Yoga Teachers Registry. Both encompass the philosophy and spirituality of Yoga as well as teaching anatomy and asanas.
